Schools who focus on parent engagement often see a profound change in their classrooms. The more parents are involved in their child’s education, the better the entire class’s motivation, behavior and grades become. But lockdown has created a barrier to parent engagement as parents struggle to balance work and home schooling commitments. During lockdown, parents were the teachers and a part of their childs' eduction. Whilst lockdown has ended there is a potential a 2nd lockdown.
